Contrary to popular belief, cold outreach is challenging to master, especially for founders of small businesses trying to do everything on their own. The most important channels for B2B sales are LinkedIn and Email, and both operate very differently. Mastering both at the same time can be quite difficult, so your best option until now may have been to outsource. The Challenge

When we began working with SellScale, they had an MVP dashboard that was not well-designed or optimized for user experience.

Our initial step was to understand their needs and vision. They wanted a complete overhaul of their dashboard to make it both visually appealing and highly functional. The objective was to create a scalable design system that could expand with their platform, ensuring a smooth, intuitive experience for their users.

Our Process

Our design process began with project planning. Taking into account the project duration and the small number of users, we started by understanding the needs and nature of products from SellScale's core team. 

We then proceeded to wireframing and prototyping, creating detailed mockups for user testing. Iterative testing and short feedback loops ensured that the designs were refined with SellScale's business objectives and user expectations.

Initial Hurdles

One of the primary challenges was designing over 200 unique screens while maintaining consistency and usability across the dashboard. Another challenge was developing a scalable design system that could easily adapt to future updates and expansions. Balancing aesthetic appeal with functional efficiency was crucial in this competitive market.

To match and exceed market standards, we introduced a modular design system that allowed for easy scalability and updates. We focused on creating an intuitive navigation system and interactive elements that enhanced user engagement. Landing page design

For SellScale, alongside revamping their dashboard, we designed a completely new landing page. After a few iterations, SellScale expressed a desire to incorporate 3D interactive design elements that would fit seamlessly into their overall brand identity and visual design.

3D Interactive web experience with Spline

To meet this requirement, our team quickly learned Spline, a tool for creating and integrating 3D web experiences. With this newfound expertise, we crafted an exceptional landing page featuring interactive 3D elements, enhancing user engagement and aligning perfectly with SellScale's brand.

Each section was crafted to highlight SellScale's unique offerings, using clear and compelling visuals paired with concise, informative content. We ensured that the design elements aligned with the overall brand identity, maintaining consistency and professionalism across the board.

Extra mile for seamless experience

We also designed a special onboarding flow and integrated other crucial product features, like Slack and a Chrome extension, to ensure a smooth and comprehensive user experience.

The onboarding flow was crafted to guide new users seamlessly through the setup process, helping them understand and utilize SellScale's features effectively. Our design focused on clarity and ease of use, reducing any friction that new users might encounter.

Onboarding & Other Integration

In addition to the onboarding flow, we integrated SellScale's product with Slack and developed a Chrome extension. These integrations were designed to enhance productivity and provide users with convenient access to SellScale's tools directly within their existing workflows.

Accessibility standards

We iterated on the design multiple times, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and core product teams. This iterative approach ensured that the final dashboard screens were polished and effective, addressing all user needs and preferences. We also developed a comprehensive design system to maintain consistency and scalability across the platform.

The final dashboard screens were not only visually appealing but also optimized for usability. We integrated features seamlessly, ensuring that users could easily navigate and access the tools they needed. By focusing on a user-centered design process, we delivered a dashboard that significantly enhanced the overall user experience, setting SellScale apart in a competitive market.
